Colonel Harold W. Linnean is the Director of the Air Force Reserve Command’s (AFRC) Professional Development Center. He is responsible for professional development that postures, develops, and connects our Citizen Airmen leaders in an effort to enhance their lethality and resilience in dynamic environments. As AFRC’s only Professional Development Center, the Center supports 3 numbered air forces, 37 wings, Air Reserve Personnel Center, and more than 70,000 Air Force Reserve personnel.

Prior to his current position, Colonel Linnean served as the Vice Commander, 960th Cyberspace Wing (960 CW), Joint Base-San Antonio, Texas. In this Air Force Reserve organization, Colonel Linnean was the full-time status senior leader. He directed the daily operations and staff
activities of 14 direct-reporting units and approximately 1,300 military and civilian personnel across 10 different states. The 960 CW is an operational warfighting organization that establishes, operates, maintains, and defends Air Force networks to ensure U.S. warfighters can maintain the information advantage.

Colonel Linnean entered the Air Force in 1995 after graduating from The Citadel’s Air Force Reserve Officer Training Commissioning program. His 24 years of Air Force service has included numerous command tours at the squadron, group, and wing levels; two Major Command director tours; and various staff and educational assignments.
