Warner Robins honors base by renaming street
North First Street in Warner Robins was renamed Armed Forces Boulevard by Mayor Chuck Shaheen during a special session of the city council meeting April 24 at the Warner Robins Visitor Center across from Robins Air Force Base. The mayor presented street sign mementos to Lt. Gen. Charles E. Stenner, commander of Air Force Reserve Command, and Col. Mitchel Butikofer, 78th Air Base Wing commander, during the brief ceremony.
