Airman 1st Class Nathan Weiland, an Active Duty cargo rigger with the 3rd Aerial Port Squadron, tightens down the final chain to secure an Army HUMVEE to a C-130 Hercules Jan. 27 at Pope Air Force Base, N.C. First AF Reserve mission from Puerto Rico
Staff Sgt. Daniel Osorio, an Active Duty C-130 Hercules crew chief deployed from the Air Force Reserve's 302nd Airlift Wing, looks over the aircraft before boarding it Jan. 25 at Muniz Air Base, Puerto Rico. Coronet Oak Responds to Haiti Earthquake
Guardsmen, reservists and active duty Airmen load cargo on a C-130 at Homestead Air Reserve Base, Fla. The C-130 is assigned to the 35th Expeditionary Airlift Squadron which provides the command and control for Coronet Oak missions into Central and South America.
The cargo was loaded for delivery to military forces in the Dominican Republic assisting with the earthquake relief in Haiti. The cargo consisted of bottled water, medical supplies and other needed items. Coronet Oak Responds to Haiti Earthquake
Senior Master Sgt. Dennis Karl, C-130 flight engineer, and 1st Lt.Casey Fallon, C-130 co-pilot, were serving on their Coronet Oak rotation with the 35th Expeditionary Airlift Squadron at Muñiz Air National Guard Base, Puerto Rico when an alert was issued after the earthquake in Haiti. Coronet Oak responds to Haiti Earthquake
