Carlos Mencia to deliver humor to U.S. troops
Carlos Mencia , the man behind Comedy Central's popular "Mind of Mencia" television program, will entertain American troops in Southwest Asia and families in Europe Nov. 30 to Dec. 12 as part of this year's Tour for the Troops, formerly known as Operation Season's Greetings. Joining the popular comedian will be headliner Kid Rock, singer/songwriter Jessie James and members of the Band of the Air Force Reserve. Air Force Reserve to bring Kid Rock and friends overseas for holidays
Kid Rock and the Twisted Brown Trucker Band will bring their unique blend of Southern rock, soul, country, heavy metal and hip hop music to American service members and their families this holiday season when they headline Tour for the Troops 2009, formerly known as Operation Season's Greetings. Kid Rock and his band will entertain American troops in Southwest Asia and families in Europe Nov. 30 to Dec. 12. Joining them will be comedian Carlos Mencia, singer/songwriter Jessie James, and members of the Band of the Air Force Reserve. The Tour for the Troops features performances at Ramstein Air Base, Germany; Incirlik AB, Turkey; RAF Lakenheath, England; and a number of deployed locations in Southwest Asia.

Miracles, Band of AF Reserve team up for Independence Day celebration
Legendary Motown artists "The Miracles" team up with the Band of the U.S. Air Force Reserve at the Independence Day Concert celebration July 2 in Warner Robins. The free concert starts at 8 p.m. at McConell-Talbert Stadium on South Davis Drive and features a night of music, fireworks and family entertainment.
