Pittsburgh Reservists get surprse reunion during CNN broadcast

Air Force Reservists Senior Airmen Domenic Mash and Keith Graft surprised their wives on the set of "Headline News Morning Express with Robin Meade" show Sept. 14, during the "Salute to the Troops" segment. Katlyn Mash and Lauren Graft gave birth to their children in August while their husbands were deployed to Afghanistan. The Airmen, from the Air Force Reserve's 911th Security Forces Squadron, Pittsburgh International Airport, Pa., volunteered to replace to two Air Force Security Forces Airmen who were killed during a terror attack in Frankfurt, Germany, seven months ago. Katlyn and Lauren were brought to the show to do the live salute, not knowing that their husbands were secretly brought home for the surprise reunion, which was a first for the daily segment on Headline News.

9/11 Pentagon stone delivered to museum

Stenner, Jr., commander Air Force Reserve Command, thanks members of the Robins Air Force Base Fire Department for their role in delivering the 9/11 Pentagon stone from the AFRC headquarters building to the Museum of Aviation. The stone, an artifact from the 9/11 attack on the Pentagon, is a symbol of the sacrifices of thousands of American men and women who gave their lives on 9/11.
