Board identifies officers for developmental education

Air Force Reserve officers who want to attend developmental education, officer professional development or joint courses who are not vetted through the Development Education Board must meet the selection board. The selection board will meet twice a year. The first board will be in January 2010. Before the boards meet, people will be able to see what is being offered. Surveys provide insight for Air Force Reserve leaders

In a series of questions about operations tempo and deployment, Air Force reservists were asked what their level of concern was about keeping their civilian employers happy while serving in the Air Force Reserve. More than half of the traditional reservists surveyed said they were somewhat or very concerned about keeping their civilian employers happy. The survey was conducted by Air Force Reserve's Internal Communication Assessment Group. The survey results will be used to help senior leaders plan for the future of the Air Force Reserve.
