Members from the Band of the U.S. Air Force Reserve collaborate with the Macon Symphony Youth Orchestra in preparation for the Kaleidoscope Concert. The common concert style will showcase a variety of musical styles and ensembles, including orchestral works, chamber groups, duos, and solo performances by MSYO scholarship competition winners. Maj. Gen. Richard S. Haddad, deputy to the chief of Air Force Reserve, testifies during a hearing of the U.S. House Armed Services Committee, Subcommittee on Readiness on Capitol Hill, April 24. Active and reserve component leaders testified to the committee about the FY14 President’s Budget request and force readiness. The proposed budget has about $5 billion to fund Air Force Reserve requirements.
