3/29/2012 - Airmen from the Air Force Reserve's 920th Rescue Wing, Patrick Air Force Base, Fla., stepped up to the challenge from their commander to launch and fly the wing's entire operational aircraft fleet last Spring. Similarly, this Spring Rescue Wing Airmen are stepping up to another challenge as they put the finishing touches on their unit compliance inspection preparations which will take place during the April drill training weekend, the 21st and 22nd. CIs are conducted to assess areas mandated by law, as well as mission areas identified by senior Air Force and Major Command leadership as critical or important to the health and performance of a unit. Failure to comply with established directives in these areas could result in significant legal liabilities, penalties, or significant mission impact. (U.S. Air Force photo/Master Sgt. Rob Grande)
