COLONEL PATTI L. FRISBIE

Colonel Patti Frisbie is the Deputy Commander, Readiness Management Group, Headquarters, Air Force Reserve Command, Robins Air Force Base, Ga. She is responsible for the readiness, accountability, personnel and administrative support for more than 8,500 Individual Reservists worldwide. She provides oversight to more than 200 personnel assigned to the headquarters staff and its 19 detachments around the globe.

Colonel Frisbie was born in Plainview, Texas and earned her commission at the United States Air Force Officer Training School, Lackland AFB, Texas in February 1987. She began her career as an aircraft maintenance officer assigned to air rescue and special operations squadrons and over the next six years participated in several deployments to include Operations JUST CAUSE and PROMOTE LIBERTY. She led her unit's initial cadre into Operations DESERT SHIELD/DESERT STORM, and was deputy commander of maintenance for an elite team that stood up the Air Force's newest combat search and rescue squadron during Operation SOUTHERN WATCH. She separated from active duty in 1995.

The following year, the colonel joined the Air Force Reserve as an Individual Mobilization Augmentee and served in both the public affairs and personnel career fields in a variety of challenging positions at group, center and headquarters levels. She transitioned to the active guard and reserve program in 2006 as the IMA Program Manager for Detachment 26, Readiness Management Group, where she was responsible for the readiness and utilization of Individual Reservists assigned to North American Aerospace Defense Command and United States Northern Command. She assumed her current position in 2012.
