COLONEL DAWN M. WALLACE
Colonel Wallace was born in Oregon, Ohio. She was commissioned in June 1991 as a distinguished graduate of the Reserve Officers Training Corps, Ohio University in Athens, Ohio, and entered active duty in April 1992. Colonel Wallace joined the Air Force Reserve as an Individual Mobilization Augmentee at Headquarters United States Southern Command in January 1997. She transferred to the unit program in November 1998 at Homestead Air Reserve Base, Fla. In the unit program, Colonel Wallace filled traditional reserve and air reserve technician positions as a wing executive officer, installation deployment officer, and deputy chief of Wing Plans and Programs. In July 2002, she transitioned to the active guard and reserve program with assignments at Headquarters Air Force Reserve Command in Logistics, Plans and Programs, and as the Commander of the 951st Reserve Support Squadron. In November 2009, Colonel Wallace deployed as the deputy Air Reserve Component Advisor Forward, Air Forces Central, Combined Air and Space Operations Center in support of Operations Enduring Freedom and Iraqi Freedom.
