Col. Paul W. Kirby is Deputy Director, Headquarters U.S. Air Force Reserve Recruiting Service, Robins Air Force Base, Ga. As Deputy Director, Colonel Kirby is the key senior advisor on all matters relating to manpower, military and civilian personnel and plans, and oversees execution of a $25 million budget. He has full responsibility for four squadrons and 45 main operating locations, with 453 personnel assigned worldwide.
Colonel Kirby, a native of Zachary, La., enlisted in the Air Force after high school. He graduated magna cum laude from Saint Leo College in Florida and was commissioned a second lieutenant by direct appointment in 1986. His assignments include tours with Numbered Air Forces and Air Staff.
