Colonel Lloyd I. Terry Jr. is the commander of the 960th Cyberspace Operations Group at Joint Base San Antonio-Lackland, Texas. The unit is the only cyberspace operations group in Air Force Reserve Command. As the commander, Colonel Terry directs the operations and staff activities of 10 direct-reporting units. The missions of these units encompass offensive cyber-operations, defensive cyber-operations, network operations, cyber defense analysis and combat communications. His responsibilities also include the coordination, organization and presentation of AFRC cyber forces to Air Force Cyber at Headquarters 24th Air Force and United States Cyber Command.
Colonel Terry was commissioned in 1983 from the Air Force Reserve Officer Training Corps upon his graduation from Embry Riddle Aeronautical University in Daytona Beach Fla. He holds the Command Cyberspace Operations and Missile Operations badges. Colonel Terry's last assignment was as the commander of AFRC Detachment 4, Cyber Program Integration Office at Headquarters Air Force Reserve Command, Robins Air Force Base, Ga.
