Colonel Stephanie A. Gass is the Director of Manpower, Personnel and Services, Headquarters Air Force Reserve Command, Robins Air Force Base, Ga. She is responsible for policies, programs and objectives involving the readiness, assignment, education and training, separation, retirement, career progression, classification, manpower, services support and quality of life for nearly 90,000 military and civilian personnel covering three Numbered Air Forces, 33 wings, and operating locations world-wide.
Colonel Gass graduated from the U.S. Air Force Academy in 1989. She has served in a variety of positions in personnel while assigned to the 27th Fighter Wing, Cannon AFB, N.M., Headquarters Air Force Wartime Manpower and Personnel Readiness Team, Fort Ritchie, Md., and 85th Group, Keflavik Naval Air Station, Iceland.
She has held staff assignments as deputy director of Air Force Personnel Center Commander's Action Group; chief, Assignment Analysis; and deputy chief, Senior Officer Management, Headquarters Air Combat Command. Her air staff assignments include chief, Air Force General Officer Matters Support Division; deputy director, Active Guard/Reserve Management Office; chief, Personnel Programs, Training and Systems Division; and Director, Air Force Reserve General Officer Management. Most recently she served as the Commander, Readiness Management Group, Air Force Reserve Command, Robins Air Force Base, Ga.
