908th teams with CCAF, creates path for FAA A&P Certification

Maintainers from the 908th Maintenance Group inspect a reciprocating engine as part of the 908th Airlift Wing’s Airframe and Powerplant program, Nov. 9, 2022, at the 908 MXG fabrication flight work center on Maxwell Air Force Base, Alabama. The 908th teamed with the Community College of the Air Force to create a path for maintainers to receive a Federal Aviation Administration Airframe & Powerplant certification to invest in Airman and to prepare for the agile combat support needed for the wing’s new mission as the Air Force's Formal Training Unit for the MH-139A Grey Wolf helicopter.
