WASHINGTON (AFNS) -- The Air Force Reserve Command presented Secretary of the Air Force Deborah Lee James with a painting “That Others May Live” during the Air Force Association Air and Space Conference and Technology Exposition in Washington, D.C., Sept. 14.

The painting, done by AFRC historian and artist Maj. Warren Neary, documents the rescue of Marcus Luttrell, a Navy SEAL, in June 2005 by reservists from the 920th Rescue Wing at Patrick Air Force Base, Florida. The rescue was dramatized in the movie “The Lone Survivor.”
