Senior Master Sgt. Brian Fowle re-enlisted and his youngest daughter, Brenna, enlisted in the Air Force Reserve Aug. 25. Col. Stephen Goeman, 445th Airlift Wing commander, administered the oaths of enlistment.

Sergeant Fowle is an aeromedical evacuation technician and the senior enlisted air reserve technician in the 445th Aeromedical Evacuation Squadron. He has 26 years of service and re-enlisted in the Air Force Reserve for four more years.

Airman Fowle will leave for Air Force Basic Military Training in December and will join the 445th Aeromedical Evacuation Squadron after she completes technical school. She graduated with honors from Tippecanoe High School in Tipp City, Ohio, in May 2009.

Military service is a tradition for the Fowle family. Sergeant Fowle's wife, Melissa, retired as a senior master sergeant from the Air National Guard. At the time of her retirement, she was superintendent of the 178th Aerospace Medicine Squadron at Springfield ANG Base, Ohio.

Their oldest daughter, Senior Airman Brianne Fowle, is an aviation resource management technician with the 445th AES. She recently completed her first deployment and is full-time student at the University of Cincinnati.

Their middle daughter, Airman Bethany Fowle, is in the Regular Air Force and is attending technical school at Goodfellow AFB, Texas, to become a digital imagery interpreter.

"She was not able to attend her sister's enlistment," said Sergeant Fowle, "but was able to see it on Facebook."

Brantley Fowle is 16 and a junior in high school. His parents say he still making up his mind on career choices.
