March moves important Navy passengers
Eight Navy dolphins, from Naval Air Station North Island, Coronado, Calif., were uploaded onto a March Air Reserve Base C-17 Globemaster III and flown to Hickam Air Force Base, Hawaii, March 26, 2012. The cargo bay was full of personnel and equipment needed to support the dolphins. During the six-hour flight everything revolved around ensuring the dolphins were comfortable and taken care of. They are headed to Hawaii to help search for underwater wreckage and maintain their flyaway capabilities to prepare for real world deployments. (U.S. Air Force photo by Staff Sgt. Megan Crusher)
