Carolyn Hope McMahon is the Chief Technology Officer/Chief Enterprise Architect, Air Force Reserve. Ms. McMahon provides leadership to the design and implementation of Communications, Computers, and Enterprise Architecture strategic direction and policy. The Air Force Reserve Command is one of 11 Air Force major commands. With more than 70,000 personnel assigned, it is the second largest. Air Force Reserve Command's 33 wings and six groups operate at 10 Reserve bases and on 56 other bases throughout the Air Force. The command provides support to each of the other Air Force major commands and to combatant commanders across the globe.
Ms. McMahon was born in Dothan, Alabama. She entered federal service in 1985 and has served in various assignments at base level, Major Command, Headquarters Air Force (both Air Staff and Secretariat), Air Intelligence Agency, National Security Agency, and United States Transportation Command in the areas of communications & computer systems, acquisition, and resource management.
