Col. Christopher F. Nick is Commander, Air Force Reserve
Command Recruiting Service, Headquarters Air Force Reserve Command, Robins Air
Force Base, Ga. As Commander, Colonel Nick is the key senior leader on all
matters relating to recruiting manpower, military and civilian personnel and
plans, and oversees execution of a $25 million budget. Additionally, he has full
responsibility for more than 450 military and civilian personnel assigned
worldwide at 44 main operating locations and numerous satellite
offices.
Born and raised in Philadelphia, Colonel Nick entered the Air
Force in 1992 upon receiving his commission from the Air Force Academy. After
nine years of active service with the Regular Air Force, he transitioned into
the Air Force Reserve in 2000. As a Reserve Airman, Colonel Nick has served as a
squadron commander and in a variety of staff positions with the Headquarters Air
Force in Washington, D.C. as well as Headquarters Air Force Reserve Command at
Robins AFB, Ga.
Prior to his current assignment, Colonel Nick was the
Reserve Advisor to Headquarters Air Force Director of Logistics, Deputy Chief of
Staff for Logistics, Installations and Mission Support in Washington, D.C
